Calendar of
Sanctioned Events
Thank you for being a part of saying, “Happy 100th Birthday,” to
Tomball, our Hometown with a Heart!” Thank you for
coming out and
supporting your hometown's birthday!
What Happened?
As events were finalized they were listed here and once
the even was
sanctioned, it was added to this monthly activity calendar.
There were lots of activities planned through-out the
year, including monthly
Centennial
Geo-Caching events!
The caches were hidden and
chock-full of surprises and available for lucky finders.
For more information see the calendar at
www.thattexasmagazine.com
or visit
www.geochaching.com
for more information on this fun sport. Deb
Dousay, with ThatTexas Magazine, chaired this
project and delivered what she promised on the day of
our depot celebration and all throughout the year. Many participants
took the
time to add their compliments about Tomball and their
pleasure at having a continuing hi-tech scavenger hunt
happening during our Centennial year.
Tomball Hospital sent all babies born in 2007 home
with a little t-shirt and blanket saying "I am a
Centennial Baby"!
TISD has our Centennial logo on school buses and
"city-owned" vehicles, have been sporting it as well.

We appreciate all that The
Tomball Potpourri
provided to the success of this historic event in our
City's history. Visit The Potpourri's website at
